The Mitsubishi Evo X engine bay, especially with the turbocharged 4B11T platform, generates significant heat from multiple sources including the turbocharger, exhaust components, radiator system, and surrounding engine bay hardware. During continuous driving or high-load conditions, heat buildup naturally increases and tends to accumulate in the upper section of the engine bay as hot air rises.

While hood vents can provide an escape path for heat, simply creating an opening may still allow airflow to become dispersed or create turbulence beneath the hood, reducing overall heat extraction efficiency.

SPEEDMEMORY FLOWDIRECTOR™ is engineered as an Airflow Management System designed to help organize and direct engine bay airflow toward the hood extraction area more effectively. By guiding airflow with a controlled path, it supports a more efficient evacuation of accumulated heat from critical areas within the engine bay.

Key Features:

▪️ Helps direct hot air toward the hood extraction area more efficiently

▪️ Reduces unwanted airflow turbulence beneath the hood

▪️ Supports reduction of heat buildup during continuous operation

▪️ Assists airflow management around turbo and surrounding heat-intensive components

▪️ Designed to work alongside the SPEEDMEMORY DUAL FLOW HOOD SYSTEM™

Note: Temperature performance may vary depending on vehicle setup, driving conditions, ambient temperatures, and overall system configuration.
